Animator Position

Digifish is a rapidly expanding film and animation production company and we’re now looking to net ourselves an outstanding animator to help us grow further. If you’ve got a passion for making animations with demonstrable experience and a unique creative flair, you could be just the person we’re looking for.

Based at our production office near York, you’ll soon see why we’ve spent the last 10 years gaining a reputation based on trust, reliability and outstanding results as you spend your days working alongside an outstandingly talented team of editors, animators and film crews with enviable broadcast credentials.

The successful applicant will be responsible for creating animations in a variety of styles across a wide range of projects from the initial concept stage through to the rendered video.

It is essential that you are fully adept with the Adobe Creative suite and must be proficient in After Effects, Premier Pro, Illustrator and Photoshop. Using the full breadth of the Adobe Suite, other tasks will involve producing storyboards, designs and motion graphics.

Required skills include editing for working on hybrid film and animation projects and the capability to edit audio.

You’ll need to be confident in your skills, have the ability to work in a busy team and manage your work-flow to meet deadlines.

Experience in creating great films is also absolutely essential.

Suitable candidates should include a showreel, CV, a short covering letter outlining your interest in the role and your availability.
