Here at Digifish we have extensive experience of working with charities and not for profit organisations to help publicise and highlight their vitally important work.
Whether we’re working with management teams, corporate sponsors, practitioners, volunteers or beneficiaries (often vulnerable people), our professionalism, discretion and sympathetic handling of information allows us to help you tell moving stories through moving pictures.
We understand the additional sensitivities and constraints within this sector and can help you prepare a business case for your investment and demonstrate the results. Our experience in producing branded content videos, documentaries, event coverage, awareness campaigns, digital media videos and online adverts that work has helped us deliver award winning results for the charity sector.
We’ve worked with a number of local, national and international organisations to help them meet a range of objectives through their charity film productions. Some examples of our work include:
Documentaries & Education Projects
Working with charities such as The Ecological Sequestration Trust, our work has taken us overseas to film in Africa and India, capturing the environmental impact of human consumption on the planet for a documentary examining complex ecological and environmental issues.
We’ve also worked with the Holocaust Survivors Friendship Association to ensure the memories of today’s remaining survivors is captured for future generations and that their harrowing experience is never allowed to be forgotten.
Training and Awareness Raising Films
We’ve worked with homeless charity clients such as Shelter and Arc Light and on multi-partner projects to raise awareness of domestic violence and abuse. Through these charity video production projects, we’ve worked with the police, local authorities, professionals, practitioners and victims to help create films with powerful messages.
Where appropriate we work with actors to help protect those most vulnerable while giving them a voice and a platform to tell their story. Our work with Arc Light has been award winning and our films about domestic abuse have been used to train doctors, courts, schools and other professionals to help them recognise signs of abuse.
We’ve produced a number of animated films for charities to raise awareness of the campaigns they address. Animation video is a fantastic tool to help with the visualisation of facts, statistics and processes through infographics and artistic representations which has been used by clients such as Julian Lennon’s charity, the White Feather Foundation and Acts435 which is the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu’s charity.
Of course, charities take many forms and their purpose and work is not always to raise awareness of society’s ills, but also to preserve and celebrate its successes.
We’re both proud and privileged to have worked with a number of museums, galleries and cultural organisations to celebrate the rich diversity of arts and culture throughout the ages and make it accessible to broad audiences through film and animation including Yorkshire Museums Trust, The Girl Guides Association, English Heritage and many more.
